Went to Jincook in Yorba Linda and really enjoyed the meal. It has a cozy, casual Korean pub vibe, and I was honestly surprised by how busy it was even on a weekday evening. You can definitely tell it’s a popular local spot. The menu has a wide variety of Korean dishes, so it’s a great place to come with friends or family and order several things to share. My favorites were: Garlic Pork Belly – The pork belly was pan-fried perfectly with a nice texture, and it wasn’t overly greasy at all. It came with garlic and chives, which balanced the richness really well. The staff was also very helpful and even showed us the best way to eat it. Garlic Soy Chicken – The chicken was juicy and tender, and the garlic soy sauce had a really nice sweet-and-savory flavor. This was super easy to eat and would be a great choice for sharing. Spicy Braised Short Rib with Cheese – Definitely one of the highlights. The short ribs were very tender, and the spicy sauce went really well with the melted cheese. It also came with rice cakes, kabocha squash, and potatoes, so the dish felt very filling and satisfying, especially with rice. Sweet Potato Cheese Curry Katsu – The pork cutlet was crispy on the

Jincook is truly one of my favorite Korean restaurants in OC! It’s a cozy family-run spot operated by a mother and son, and you can really taste the love and care in every dish. The restaurant itself feels like stepping into a Korean drama, and the food has that comforting, homemade “mom’s cooking” flavor that you just can’t get from typical Korean restaurants. The Braised Beef Short Rib is an absolute must-order. The beef is incredibly tender and flavorful—it practically falls off the bone. The potatoes, pumpkin, and rice cakes soak up all the delicious sauce, and honestly, I ended up finishing every bit of the side dishes too! The Garlic Suyuk is another favorite. The boiled pork belly is tender and rich without feeling greasy, especially when paired with chives, kimchi, and Korean dipping sauce. The flavors work so well together, and somehow every bite makes you want another one. You can really tell that the food here is made with heart. If you’re looking for authentic, comforting Korean food in OC that feels like a homemade meal, Jincook is definitely worth checking out. It feels like a little “home away from home.”

A warm and welcoming Korean restaurant run by a mother and son. The mother personally shops for fresh ingredients every day and prepares the food with care, while the son provides friendly service that makes guests feel right at home. They also have a Buena Park location. Everything we ordered was excellent. • Beef Rib Soup (Galbitang): A generous portion packed with ingredients. The beef was incredibly tender and fell right off the bone. The rich onion flavor made the broth even more enjoyable, and adding cheese took it to another level. • Garlic Suyuk: Slow-cooked at a low temperature, the pork was tender and juicy. It paired perfectly with the garlic cream sauce, spicy sauce, and chives, creating great layers of flavor and texture. • Garlic Chicken: One of my personal favorites. The chicken was tender and juicy with a nice bite, while the savory garlic sauce became more flavorful with every bite. • Korean Kimchi Pancake Roll: A unique menu item featuring tuna wrapped inside a crispy kimchi pancake. Creative, flavorful, and different from anything I’ve tried before. • Pork Cutlet & Fish Cutlet: Crispy and golden on the outside while remaining juicy and tender on the inside.

Taste :5/5 Environment: 5/5 Service: 5/ 5 I can’t believe it took me this long to discover Jincook - Authentic Korean Soul Food in Yorba Linda. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was transported back to Seoul. The traditional Korean interior, the family-owned warmth, and the attention to detail in every dish made this one of the most memorable Korean meals I’ve had in Southern California. 💛 Braised Beef Short Rib (MUST ORDER) This dish alone is worth the drive. The beef is fall-apart tender, deeply flavored, and then they torch the cheese tableside 💛 Mushroom Japchae Don’t let the mushrooms fool you. The truffle oil and mushroom aroma are ridiculously addictive. 💛 Sweet Potato Cheese Curry Katsu Every element somehow works together perfectly. Other standouts: ✨ Beef Short Rib Soup ✨ Charcoal-Grilled Garlic Soy Chicken ✨ DIY Tteokbokki (add ramen!) ✨ Kimbap Jeon with fried eggplant The dangerous part? Everything was so good that I’ve officially decided my mission is to work through the entire menu. 📍 Yorba Linda 🅿️ Plenty of free parking 🕚 Open until 11PM (Sun-Thu) 🌙 Open until Midnight (Fri-Sat)

Jincook is one of the best Korean restaurants I've visited. The food tastes authentic and is prepared with great quality ingredients. The chicken cutlet curry was especially delicious—the curry was rich and flavorful, and the chicken cutlet was perfectly crispy and tender. We also ordered the galbi jjim, and the portion was very generous. The meat was high quality, tender, and packed with flavor. Every dish we tried felt authentic and well made. If you're looking for genuine Korean food with large portions and excellent quality, I highly recommend Jincook. I'll definitely be coming back!
